Lomo camera with underwater casing and Kodak ISO400 film

Look what i have here. A cheap lomography camera with an underwater casing (Checkout what is lomography here). Bought it for RM30 from a souvenir shop at 1 Utama. The Kodak ISO400 film bought from a photo shop at Melawati for RM13.

The casing was said can go up to 3m deep. For me it’s enough already as i’m gonna use it near water surface and for experimental purpose. Will take it to my snorkeling trip this long weekend.

For me, it’s back to basic photography, back to where i started photography with a cheap basic film camera. It’s more thrilling as u can see the preview of the photo u took. After the film was developed, only then u can get the result. The result can be nice, or worst, some blank photo :P

Ahad lepas (22/11/09) aku bersama 2 org member aku Raja & Dell(laki bini) turun ke JB bersempena dgn BERNAMA Treasure Hunt 2009. Dlm treasure hunt tu, Alhamdulillah kami menang no. 3.

Lepas checkout dari hotel Mercure di Senai, kami terus gerak ke bandaraya Johor Bahru (JB). Jln-jln ambil gambar & makan. Raja jadi driver & tour guide.

Kami singgah di pekan asal JB. Di sini terdpt bangunan2 kedai lama yg amat cantik utk diambil gambar.

Ini lah masanya photographers nak posing.. hahaha.. Enjoyy

Which Lens for Portrait Photography?

I found this to be a great tips on choosing lens for portrait photography.

From this video, it says that long lens is better. Why? Below are the reasons.

  • Narrow angle of view
  • Less distortion
  • Subject more comfortable
  • Compose shots easily

Hari ni aku plan dtg asalnya nak amik pass jer. Ajak member aku, masing2 tak free plak. So aku drive sorang2 ke SIC yg jauh kat tempat jin bersepak terajang sana nun utk meneruskan hajat aku.

Bila sampai sana, dah dgr bunyi kereta2 GT tgh berkumandang, maybe tgh free practice session agaknya. Teruja aku sehhhh dgr bunyi enjin kereta super GT. Rasa tak sabar nak tengok. Setelah amik pass, rasa bosan plak nak balik awal2 ni. Dah alang2 drive jauh2 ni, baik aku usha2 jap apa yg ada. Tengok masih belum ramai pengunjung. Seat2 di grand stand pon tak byk org lagi. Aku pon pegi ke media centre, jumpa member aku. Lepas borak2, layan kejap Formula V6 Asia & Aston Martin Race 1. Pastu, aku pon rasa nak blah aaa… Ari ni mmg takde mood langsung nak turun trek amik gambar. Ni jer ler gambar sket2 yg aku amik.

Alamak…

Dah berapa lama aku tak update blog aku ni… Sori kengkawang. Aku teramat ler bz lately ni. Bz ngan keje opis, ambik gambar sana sini, buat programming utk website, buat design pon aku, pendek kata selagi tak tutup mata, keroje.. kerojeee… kerojeeee. Kekadang tu buat2 bz pon ada jugak. Kang org kata aku takde keje plak.

Byk event yg berlaku lately. Larian Bomba, Larian New Balance 15km etc..  Aku nak updatekan kat sini tak sempat. So, nnti aku sempat aku update lah.

Maaf ler kawan2 yg masuk sini tengok takde update dr aku. OK, harap2 bersabar..

Sementara tu, aku nak share ngan korang satu gambar yg aku snap ngan camera phone aku semasa nak pegi training swimming di Selayang. Agak pelik gambarnya. Aku tak pernah tgk. Sama2 kita pikirkan apa maksud gambar ni. Kalu korang tau, sila tinggalkan komen dibawah…
