Pedal Away Polio Flyer

This is to promote Pedal Away Polio event organized by Rotaract Club of Taylor’s University College.

This event will be held at Sunway Pyramid where they have agreed to be the venue sponsor on the 18th of September this year.

The objective of this event is to channel every dollar raised to Rotary’s International PolioPlus Fund to help eradicate poliomyelitis globally.

Come on in cyclists, let’s join this event!

15/4/2010 mlm, kak Hazz fetch aku & Roma dr Bernama. Parking kete kat Bernama. Singgah di Kuantan ambik Zafridan. Aku naik kete ngan abg. Rahim(instructor kami). Lepas Kuala Terengganu, aku sambung drive, sbb abg Rahim dah ngantuk. Kami tiba di jeti Kuala Besut dlm 6.30am 16/4/2010.

Lepak2, sarapan, 8.30am naik bot ke P. Perhentian. Cuaca baik, tp keadaan laut agak bergelora. Boatman tu plak bawak laju, aku dok paling depan. Terhentak2 aku dibuatnya. Dah mcm naik roller coaster kat fun fair. Bedebah punya boatman! Setengah jam kemudian smpai di jeti Arwana Resort, P. Perhentian.

Lepas check-in, tanpa tunggu, kitorang prepare utk 1st open water dive. Prepare dive equipment di dive shop & briefing oleh instructor.

1st Dive (1st day)

Location : Shark Point, tak jauh je dr resort.
Air mmg jernih, dr atas bot dah bleh nampak batu karang & ikan2. Tak sabar rasanya nak turun. Setelah pembahagian dive buddy(DB) oleh instructor, dan ajar cara nak turun dgn cara back-roll, aku pun turun. Dah turun bawah tu, pemandangannya mmg cantik betul. Tak terkata aku tengok keadaan bawah laut sedalam 15m tu. Ikan, gamat laut, batu karang.. mcm2 lagi. Semuanya sungguh indah. Sblm ni dpt tgk dlm tv jer, skrg depan mata aku. Fuhhh.

2nd Dive

Location: Shark Point
Dive kali ni lebih kurang sama dgn yg 1st td. Cuma keadaan di bawah berpasir dan kebolehlihatan yg rendah. Tp dpt melakukan selaman lebih jauh & mcm2 bleh nampak. Instructor juga ada tunjuk pd kami seekor Black Tip shark di hadapan. Tp aku tak nampak sgt, jarak pemandangan agak terhad.

3rd Dive (2st day)

Location: D’Lagoon
Terletak agak jauh dr Arwana Resort. Turun2 je ke bawah, satu kawasan berpasir yg lapang. Mmg cantik! Cuaca yg baik menyerlahkan lagi view dlm laut. Di sini, kami menyelam mengelilingi terumbu karang yg besar. Dpt aku main2 dgn Nemo (Clown fish). Tiba2 instructor menyuruh kami diam sebentar sbb kat depan tu ada seekor pari besar yg tgh berehat. Kami hampirinya perlahan2, tgk pari secara live. Perghhh.. perasaan yg mmg susah nak terangkan.

4th Dive

Location: Tg. Basi
Ini adalah dive yg terakhir utk melayakkan aku sbg seorang diver yg bertauliah. Dive kali ni menggabungkan dua kumpulan divers. Dive buddy aku pun bertukar dgn rakan yg lain. Dive site kali ni agak mencabar di mana menurut instructor kami, terdpt beberapa jenis ikan yg agak agresif spt trigger fish & landak laut, dan juga airnya yg berarus. Jadi diver haruslah lebih berhati2. Pemandangan bawah laut pd kali ini lebih cantik drp tpt2 yg lain, byk jenis ikan & batu karang yg ditemui. Terdpt sekumpulan ikan selar kuning yg berenang berhampiran kami, aku ambik kesempatan utk berenang di tengah2 gerombolan ikan tersebut. Tp susah gak nak kejar, hehehe. Dive kali ni mengambil masa 45min & selaman sedalam 16m. Kami masing2 pulang ke resort dgn muka yg berpuas hati.

Malam tu, kami menjawab soalan2 exam PADI, bg melengkapkan kami memperolehi lesen diving. Alhamdulillah, semua aku dpt jawab. Mlm tu juga majlis penyerahan sijil lulus kursus diving. Aku dah PADI certified! Yeahhh best..!!!

Seminggu ni aku kene baca buku ni... uh uh uh otak dah berkarat nih

Agaknya dah brp lama dah aku tak update blog aku ni. Dah lost track dah. Sbbnya aku terlampau lah busynya dgn keje harian & latihan.

Ok lah. Dgn kesempatan ni, kebetulan aku ada 1 mende baru yg berlaku dlm life aku. Aku nak update kat sini. Aku akan ambil lesen diving dlm this weekend. Hr sabtu (10/4/2010) aku dah amik kursus dlm pool. So next step, aku akan turun laut plak di Pulau Perhentian. Dan di sana nnti akan ada juga ujian bertulis. Hopefully cita2 aku ni akan tercapai. Aminnn….

Pegi sana naik keretapi Senandung Malam, RM92 pegi balik, koc yg ada katil bleh tido. Murah lah. Di sana, kami menginap di rumah cousin di Pasir Ris. Thanks Abg Mat & family for your hospitality.

Pekan asal JB, penuh warna-warni

Ahad lepas (22/11/09) aku bersama 2 org member aku Raja & Dell(laki bini) turun ke JB bersempena dgn BERNAMA Treasure Hunt 2009. Dlm treasure hunt tu, Alhamdulillah kami menang no. 3.

Lepas checkout dari hotel Mercure di Senai, kami terus gerak ke bandaraya Johor Bahru (JB). Jln-jln ambil gambar & makan. Raja jadi driver & tour guide.

Kami singgah di pekan asal JB. Di sini terdpt bangunan2 kedai lama yg amat cantik utk diambil gambar.
