It was a last minute registration run. A friend of mine invite me to run. Its free, but u have to bring along at least 10 empty plastic water bottles.

Its a fun n enjoyable run. Not so crowded as many regular runners running at the malakoff 12km on the same day.

Clocked 37mins for the 7km run, n got myself the limited finisher’s medal

The nite was hot n humid. Almost no wind at all. But it rained for 1hr on the afternoon before. Otherwise, it will be freakin hot :p

I did ran well n maintain my pace throughout the race. I admit, the hills seemed so easy to me to conquer

But the on last final km, my legs started to get the cramp feeling. So i take it slowly, to avoid it become worst.

Clocked 2:22, unofficial nett time.

Took my bike off my car, n cycled to the full marathon route. Accompanied my friend, cikun doing his 2nd full marathon.

He had a bad cramp on his both legs. Told him to walk n run slowly.

He finished at abt 2.30am, clocking abt 6:30. We waited for the last full marathon runners that arrived half an hour later, that happened to be my chap ayam frens, aini n irina they were escourted by all the rescue team, medic, fire dept, police n race marshals. What a dramatic finish for them!

Bottom line, it was a great, well organized event. Kudos to the organizer!

Tonite (15/10/2011), i will be running half-marathon in Putrajaya Night Marathon, in tribute to a running friend, Allahyarham Kharis Idris a.k.a. Tuan Senang Besar(TSB), who passed away last Thursday 13/10/2011.

Although i dunno much abt him, but i tribute this run for him, as a fellow runner, with same hobby n passion in running. Respect for him.

Last weekend was the busiest & tiring one. On Saturday, drove to Parit Yusoff, Batu Pahat. Attended my ex-sister-in-law son’s wedding. Depart 9am, arrived 12.30pm. She asked me to do wedding photography for her son. Did it, a complimentary photography from me.

Drove back to KL, 3.30pm – 7pm. That’s totaling 7 hrs of driving! Phewwww… never did that since a long time. Relax for half an hour, then rushed to Ovo Bistro at Damansara Utama, for Rock Reborn gig. Went there with Halil. Nice gig, perform by local rock metal band, Touch Mahal. Performing along were Rosli Mohalim (Sweet Charity guitarist), Zulkif (Headwind’s guitarist), Ajin (Blackrose’s vocalist), Shewolf (all-girl rock band) and lots more… Organized by Brothers in the Hood, lead by bro Bob. Bro Otega introduced me & Halil to this great event. We did some banner printing service for them. Great show!!! Will attend more in the future surely

The next Sunday morning, woke up early for the New Balance 15k run at Putrajaya! Hahahah… I’m crazy yeahhh!!! The run was so nice, the weather was breezy following last nite’s rain. It’s still cloudy and cold windy that morning. What a run friendly weather for us. A good blessing

Enjoyed the weekend so much. Had a good sleep & rest after all those activities

It was raining drizzly 1 hr before the run started. The surrounding was so cold that evening. It’s gonna be a cold run for me this time. The ultra-marathon category started at 7pm, while the rest started at 7.45pm. There are not many runners. It’s gonna be like free and easy run for me doing the 44km! Hahaha… will take it slowly, easily, no rush, as this is not a race, just like a normal weekend LSD Saw Zulhassan, he’s running Ultra!

As the time goes, i found myself running alone as the gap between runners build up. At certain spot, there’s even no people  at all. It’s drizzling & cold, misty, quiet.. scary too. Feels like something gonna pop up out of the dark roadside Hehehe.. what a feeling. Just dont wanna think abt it too much, concentrate on my run & listen to my ipod

Met Sabri, Ruby, Aini & Shahrul in front of PoJ, they just arrived. They did 1 & half loop, that was abt 15-16km something. Saw Det, Shakhir, Nik & the gang running on the other side. Nice to saw u guys running here too. Ah Tey was there as well to take our photos. Thanks Tey for covering this event!

The water station served Gatorade, Revive, 100Plus, plain water, bananas & GU gels. Wow!! That’s quite variety of choices for a small running events. Great!!! The water supply was sufficient.

Overall, it was a nice small & simple events. A well done job by Irwan & friends organizing this events. There’s a Red Crescent ambulance on standby and patrolling along the run route. There’s a group of traffic police on duty also. I enjoyed the 44km run very much! This was the most relaxing run i ever did. Did 4 loops, finished my run at 2.30am the next morning, clocking 6 hrs, 35mins. A huge satisfaction! 1 more full marathon added in my list

The Young Endurance Athlete 2009 will be held in Putrajaya on the 17th and 18th October 2009.

Fuhhhh… rasa lega pon ada gak.. Sempat lagi nak training lagi ni.

I’ve succesfully registered for the Port Dickson Int. Triathlon 2009 (11-12 July 2009). This time they use 2 new payment methods, Credit Card online & bank-in. To make things easy, i opted for the Credit card payment. Fast & easy. Nice job Triathlonmalaysia.com!

Now, i’m still considering wether to register for Desaru Tri or not. The big Desaru waves still haunting me. There’s also Putrajaya 70.3 Half-Ironman coming too. Very tempting!!! Bro Zulhassan said, the cost for going to Desaru Tri compared to the fees for Putrajaya 70.3 Half-Ironman not far difference.

Hmmm… Still thinking.
